Boulder Lab Clayton

I went once to check it out, the day after I went back and did a yearly membership. Now I regularly come here 3 times a week since March 2023 Never disappoints. Every week there are new walls to climb, new challenges, new people. Good community, I've been able to meet some nice people. Staff is super friendly. Gym area is well equipped for its size and there are also plenty of restrooms both up and downstairs. Great 👍

Awesome place. Great induction video following the QR code down below includes the waiver form too that you gotta do before you climb if it's your first time. Nice climbs. Great facilities and super clean. Amazing price too for single day pass $20. Even has a gym and a cafe, they serve food at a pretty decent price but I'm not sure about how they taste. Coffee is sold too.

Straight to it: great venue for some climbs. Very open and spacious. On hot days it's still pretty good and bearable inside with good air flow. Friendly staff and always happy to help. Coffee can sometimes be a bit burny G, but you're not here for the coffee. Decent parking with street parking around the corner. *EDIT* Fresh carpet for 2023

Boulder Lab has so many walls to choose from, I've visited twice and still haven't managed to get through all the walls in my grade, in one session! The Climbs are challenging and puzzling but accommodate climbers of all grades. The venue is clean and modern, making it a very inviting environment. I recommend checking upstairs for something different. Will absolutely be coming back. The staff are friendly and welcoming, new climbers will feel very comfortable here.

So I wanted to share my experience with going to boulder lab Clayton with my 4&5 year old. Wasn’t sure what to expect my 5 year old daughter has some social anxiety and it manifests it self in some wierd ways. Anyway we went to boulder labs because we knew they had a kids wall and that they are kid friendly and then my 5 year olds anxiety started and she didn’t want to demonstrate the safe fall to the man. He spent what felt like three hours of me wrangling my kids and the kids being shy it was only 20 minuets but he was totally fine with taking a break and letting me reset the kids the kids then showed me and the man there safe fall but I was incredibly thankful that the staff let me help my daughter go climbing she absloutly loved it and we will be back there again for another climb 🧗‍♀️ But I didn’t catch the guys name when we where there on Sunday but just a big shout out to the staff at boulder labs they let me work with my daughter and it meant heaps to me watching her climb and the staff letting me help her do the safe fall and just working with her anxiety she told everyone at day care! Would recommend going to boulder labs espically if your a climber with kids!

Two of us came to Boulder Lab in Clayton on a Saturday morning. This was my third time bouldering, and I had a really positive experience here at Boulder Lab. After watching a quick video, signing a waiver, and practicing how to 'safely fall', we were on our way. There is a vast selection of different climbs, ranging in difficulty from level 1-10. I had a very fun time and an overall positive experience, so I will definitely be back again to attempt more challenging climbs!
